Emerging from the emerald twilight of Portland, Oregon, Sepiatonic is a vaudeville-inspired dance and music experience. Some parts theatrical show, some parts wild dance party, this project always brings innovative audio and visual entertainment! We feature original live and electronic music, focusing on electro-swing, but extending out into further realms of house music, bass music, hip-hop, funk, Balkan beats, and more.
Sepiatonic strives to bring vintage class into today’s electronic music, and to put a bumpin’ booty party into a vaudeville experience. We have high energy tunes, belly dance and burlesque acts, antics up our sleeves, and strive to distribute joy everywhere we venture!
Sepiatonic has performed at music festivals nationally/internationally, from Electric Forest (Michigan, USA), to Lightning in A Bottle (California, USA), to Rockový Slunovrat (Prague, Czech Republic). They have performed at dance and circus festivals such as Tribal Fest Hanover (Hanover, Germany), to the Electro-Vaudeville Festival (Vancouver, British Columbia), Umbrella Festival (Oregon, USA), and toured in Europe and America, bringing a unique dance party to diverse audiences.
Sepiatonic is available as a trio of core members, Karolina lux (belly dance, vocals, trumpet), Anthony Meade (trombone, vocals), and Ezel (electronic production, vocals, bass), but also boasts an arsenal of many award-winning dancers/circus performers, and additional musicians. Other variety artists/musicians can be added upon request, depending on your event’s needs. Workshops in dance, theater, and music are also available.
